In here we talk about motors, power adders, and plan the build.

Plan is roughly: Some type of LS motor, cheap thay can be tuned with HPtuners/LS1edit, etc. Probably a 5.3 to start.

Get a motor, take it apart and look over, gap rings, and maybe upgrade a few things. I have a couple of cams to choose from.

Next phase - add nitrous.

In future - turbo? Bigger motor?

Why not do a multiple phase build? Find a nice running 5.3, clean it up, basic bolt-on's throw it and play with tune/nitrous till it goes. Then we can start phase two and go bigger, itll give the younger generation a chance to get a real hands on and in depth learning experience to power capabilities, limit's, proper tuning exercises e.t.c.....

Haha also, it will be softer on the pocket book at first and allow the project to hit completion faster at first

This is what we are talking about doing? Turbo would be further off.

Sounds like a good plan!
